I shall look our for Maria Keil's work when I'm in Lsibon next month.

Good luck with the firing, I never really know what will come out after the fire's done it's work !

Yes, do! There are murals by her in different parts of the city, but the easiest to find are the Metro station panels. Have you been to Lisbon before?

I haven't been before, I'm really looking forward to it, I expect we'll find ourselves on the metro at some point!

October is a good month to visit Lisbon, or at least it used to be. When I was growing up, October was proper Autumn and I remember eating roasted chestnuts on cold and foggy streets. But I guess as a visitor you might appreciate clear skies better - roasted chestnuts just won't taste as good if the sun is shinning, though 😉.

I hope you enjoy the city and if you do get to see Maria Klein's panels, do let me know what you think!

Love your work Sara, I can’t wait to see the cups fired! They’re all wonderful ✨ and the phrase “only fire will tell”, love it!!

Swifts are clearly becoming "a thing" in my work... I love them too.

I will share how the mugs turn out for sure - stay tuned!

I'm happy to hear that, Vanessa. It feels scary to write about this stuff, which I find fascinating but I never know if other people will enjoy it. So, thank you for reading and for commenting 🤎

Hope you're felling better, by the way! I am looking forward to seeing more of your creations!

É sempre um prazer ler estas tuas publicações! Já estava a sentir falta.

Gostei muito do padrão geométrico com as andorinhas e a minha "mug" preferida é a de cor azul forte. Ah! e adorei ouvir o barro cantar :) Obrigada!
